Welcome to the Glass Wiki project by learners for learners! German

The term wiki is a shortened form of "wiki wiki" which is from the native lan- guage of Hawaii, where it is used as an adjective for "quick" or "fast". It is also often "translated" as "What I Know Is...", which perfectly describes the possi- bility of sharing knowledge with others.

In this wiki project glass students wherever they come from are welcome to participate: You can contribute explanations on glass terms in the glossary and add texts, pictures and links about glass history, technology, design and glass art history.
