If you click on the English words, you'll also be connected with the Merriam Webster online dictionary, where you get audio files for learning how to pronounce the difficult words. If you are in search for technical vocabulary you can't find in this dictionary, have a look at the professional online dictionary provided by the Technical University of Munich: Leo or Dresden: Beolingus. Here you can find links to several dictionaries.
To learn your vocabulary play memory and hangman. You also get access to the learning games OASES, provided by the University of Cologne. Play against each other and have a bet who will be the quickest to match the correct terms. Give them a try: It's fun! This programme "English for Glass Professionals" offers you a special learning unit with glass related topics such as glass history, technology and design.
